american kestrel! this was originally intended to be an art study (a nice break from all the realistic human faces) but i guess i got too invested ':) shading is so fun why would i ever resist shading - the brushwork's kinda messy due to me only using the basic round brush for the bird itself. but it was still a fun practice for colours and bird anatomy!
