This project is now interactive thanks to Layzej! Click to add ripples. Some ripples will also be randomly generated. If you don't want this, press space to toggle the random ripples.
This effect doesn't use trig functions, just two lists. One stores the data for the previous frame, and the other stores the data for the frame before that. I saw it when browsing the web, and thought it would be cool to implement on scratch. To see the original article, go here: http://freespace.virgin.net/hugo.elias/graphics/x_water.htm I was feeling lazy, so I just copied Raucket's scripts for creating a grid of pixels with the pen. Check out the project I found those scripts at here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/89795876/ The music is a cover of Glassy Sky from Tokyo Ghoul root a, done by Amanda Lee, her youtube channel is LeeandLie.
