Hope, joy, acceptance, and reflection. North, east, south, and west. Air, fire, earth, and water. Spring, summer, autumn and winter. The world is a turbulent, and unpredictable place. Sorrow, death, and heartbreak scatter the forest of life, and the hardships of the wild are well known. Yet, the sorrow is matched with joy, with every death comes life, and heartbreak stems to love. Balance gifts control the world. Earth, fire, water and air. With the elements at peace, comes unity. To honour these four natural wonders, the seasons are formed. Spring, summer, autumn, and winter. These seasons forged peace for the world. In the centre of the world, these four seasons meet, at the turning point. The elements border, and fire, water, earth, and air are at their strongest. Here, lives the clans. Each with a quarter of the turning point. Bloomclan, Sunlitclan, Fallingclan, and Hollyclan. Here, the seasons are at their strongest. Here, lives the spirit of the world. Bloomclan - This clan lives in the meadows of spring. Their culture surrounds the natural life of flowers, and they have strong whimsical beliefs surrounding life, and even a secret language, spoken with the flowers they nurture. Sunlitclan - Amidst the sweltering deserts of summer, lives the season of joy. The sun rays that light their clan symbolise the hedonistic views that their culture is built on. This clan fears time itself, and values happiness, and music. Fallingclan - The clan of colour lies hidden in the scarlet boughs of autumn. A forest of acceptance, and celebration of growth. Yet, hidden beneath the piles of warm leaves, hides superstitions, and dangerous beliefs. Hollyclan - Atop the mountains, you can see the world. Winter coats the peaks with everlasting snow, and brilliant frost. These solitary cats’s hearts aren’t chilled by the cold, but are they? As swift, and athletic, and generous as they are, could there be secrets beneath the ice? Rules: TBD New ranks guide: Messenger - Every clan should have at least two messengers at a time, and an apprentice is optional, but appreciated. These swift-footed cats are chosen for their agility, determination, and speed. Their role is to deliver messages throughout the clans, when needed, and sometimes even supplies, or secrets. These cats must avoid threats that get in the way of their messages, and it is a rule that these cats are allowed free access to all territories when delivering, although apprentices must be accompanied by a mentor. When not delivering, they should participate in warrior duties, and help out in the camp, doing what is needed. However, there must be at least one messenger in camp at a time. Messenger training usually starts at 6 moons, and ends at 12 moons, after an assessment is completed. - Mediator This role works similarly to the way it does in the books. Generally, there is no more than one mediator, though they must take on an apprentice before they die. This apprentice cannot graduate to full mediator status until their mentor is dead. Mediators are neutral, and they must be skilled in persuasion, and ability to work under pressure. They handle arguments, and are involved in the decisions the clan makes. They must have no biases, and it is their job to advise the leaders, and settle disagreements. They need an open mind, and when not mediating, they are expected to help out in the clan, and do what is needed. They are considered high ranks, and it is very difficult to get accepted into the role. They start training at 6 moons, and their training lasts a long time, until the current mediator passes. Joining: To join, then you’ve got to be accepted into a litter! To locate one, check the litter hub! For high ranks, you can find sign-ups in the litter hub! Project applications are preferred, and high-ranks are selective, so you won’t necessarily get the role you want. Some litters will be adult litters, to increase the number of warriors and messengers. Additionally, you can adopt a cat from the adoption centre if there are any. These are cats who have been deleted from roleplay, that you recieve, without creating a character yourself! More information on the project.
