My friend Violet (@Kittengirlgames) is going through a lot of internet issues right now- while a lot has settled, there's still some tense-ness around her. I know Violet in real life- she's my buddy! She's really good at working with kids, always says hello, and is described as friendly and a good conversationalist. But when it comes to the safety of things she loves, such as her family or her characters, she gets defensive. I think we all do. Violet's default reaction is fight. When she gets very upset and doesn't know what to do, she antagonizes. It's something she's done since a little kid, and I'm not sure she can control that too well unless she willingly steps out of the situation. Violet has had quarrels with friends in her real life in the past because of this. Violet can only really be buddies with people who respect her, her characters, and people who don't take her backlash personally. She has a lot of friends and people who she loves IRL, and I think that- despite her downwards mental health spiral in November, she's a good person. People IRL tell Vi she's a good person, and she doesn't believe them. Because of how mean she was to her mother and her ex-friends. Violet has mental health issues, and she always has and will. But she's improving so much as a person, and I'm super proud of her. Let's forget the past and look ahead to the future. remember that: -Violet is a human being, who makes mistakes and has feelings. -Violet has admitted to her mistakes, and she feels awful about them. -You don't have to be friends with Violet or talk to her, but respect other's decision to be her buddy if they want to. -Violet is a good person who's just made bad choices. Deep down she's a sweetheart. :D -Violet is learning and working hard on controlling her anger, and has done good so far. -Violet doesn't excuse her past actions, rather she's trying to learn from them.
