Click or space for the next slide in my art process :) Remind me to never draw a background again! :))) On a brighter note, 1989 TV is coming out in less than a month! I’m sooo excited. Sunrise Boulevard is my absolute favorite cover for this album. It’s so “Gorgeous.” I am a bit bothered, however, by the beachy theme when the lead-off track is literally called “Welcome to New York,” lol. ★ Art Process! 1. Finished piece. I’m happy with the pose! I just gave up on drawing the background so I did the ol’ reliable background: a solid-color rectangle. 2. Super rough sketch that may or may not be anatomically correct. My style changes every time. 3. Sketched on the clothes and hair in green. The colors change every time I draw, not that it really matters. 4. Line art! Don’t ask me how long I spent on the hands, I don’t wanna talk about it. 5. Skin rendering (groovy) 6. Shorts. Someone tell me where Taylor got those shorts because they look so comfy 7. Hair is my least favorite thing to render, skin being my absolute favorite. This wasn’t too bad, though. 8. The sweater was an absolute nightmare. I absolutely covet this sweater but I would never covet having to color and render this. 9. So I tried to do the actual background in the photo but I actually can’t. It’s too much man. Anyway, this is the finished drawing again :) ★ Credits Art: @river_of_dreams Code: @river_of_dreams Music: Out Of The Woods - Taylor Swift
