That night before I go to bed I sit on Jesse's empty bed. "I miss you Jess. I wish you were here. I think I-i am going to break up with Adrien tomorrow" I whisper and with that I curl up in her old covers and start to cry softly. _____________________________________________ In the morning I wake up with a smile. I am 16 now! I quickly pull on my robes and curl my long hair. My dark mark stings but I ignore it. Nothing bad will happen today. I walk downstairs and see Adrien tutoring first years. That is nice of him. My heart sink at what I am going to do today. What I must do. "Happy Birthday" Adrien smirks. It seems sad though. "Happy Birthday!" chorused the first years. I smile and walk out of the common room. I see Harry and he like everybody else says, "Happy Birthday," I give him a hug. "Hey, you should really go down to the lake, near that oak tree" Harry says. "Trust me". I nod. I walk down to the lake and see Adrien sitting by a tree with a picnic laid out. I smile and then Draco walks up. He picks me up swinging me in his arms and says, "Happy Birthday Opal!". I laugh and hug him. "Thanks Dray," I say then I turn away and go sit with Adrien. He seems mad.
