Adrien Malfoy ~ A diary: Chapter 2 "Don't tell him, it's just going to make him worst," a soft voice pleaded, a voice which sounded like my dad. Slowly, I opened my eyes and the vision cleared. Sitting in front of the bed was a tall man with slightly longer black hair, with a bitter face. Beside him stood a long, blond haired man with pale skin, who is, my dad. "He's awake, Severus-" my dad said, staring at me. I bolted upright, only to wheeze in pain and collapse back onto the bed. My dad sighed and muttered, "Not as smart as I thought..." The man named Severes swept beside my bed and leaned forward, examining me. His forehead creased into a frown and he spoke coldly into my face, "Well, well. Adrien, is it? Proud to be a Malfoy?" I caught my dad glaring behind Severus. "No, no, perhaps not... of course, Draco a lovely brother? Well, perhaps not... then, do you know why you are here?" he whispered so softly I could barely hear anything. Instead of answering, my eyes darted to my dad and I shook in fear. However, my dad spat, "Answer him, Adrien." I stared in horror at the man leaning closer to me and sputtered, "N-no idea, a-and what have you done to me? And why are you here, dad?!" Severus' lip curled and stood upright, no longer leaning towards me. He turned to my dad and smiled coldly, "Lucius, really, haven't you told him anything?" My dad immediately blinked and mumbled, "N-no." Severus sighed and turned towards me. "Adrien, do you know who The Dark Lord is?" I caught my father keep his head down and muttered something under his breath. I shook my head and slowly pushed myself up. "Adrien, you are not cured yet, don't try sitting up," my father coughed. I narrowed my eyes at him, feeling extremely angry at him. How could he not care that his son was hurt? Severus shot my dad a glare and he immediately shut his mouth. "The Dark Lord, whose name is..." he paused for a moment and took a deep breath, "Voldemort, is a really strong wizard who can k!ll a lot of people in just one strike." My eyes widened in shock and yelled, "What? And you two are helping him?" Severus looked taken aback and swept towards my dad, face so threatening that my dad nearly toppled over. Afraid that Severus might hurt my dad, I pulled out my wand and croaked the only spell I knew- "Stupefy!" Like a bullet, the red spell zoomed directly at Severus' back. Thinking that he was unaware, I cracked a smile. However, Severus simply threw his cloak against the spell and swept back towards me. "That," he roared. "Is the only spell you learnt? WHAT HAS LUCIUS BEEN TEACHING YOU? THAT IS THE DUMBEST SPELL I HAVE EVER HEARD FROM A SPECIAL WIZARD!" My dad immediately walked towards Severus and threatened, "Don't. Mention. About. Him. Like. THIS!" Though Severus just chuckled and pulled out his wand, his face as bitter as ever. My dad sighed and clenched his fists, "Whatever, do what you want. If The Dark Lord is not pleased, it's your fault." Before Severus could open his mouth, I asked aloud, "Dad, why must The Dark Lord be pleased?" Severus turned coldly and laughed. "You still call him your DAD? After what he had done to you? Have you not realised that you wasted 11 years? 11 YEARS! DOING NOTHING! JUST A SIMPLE LITTLE SPELL AND LUCIUS IS PLEASED?" Severus' laughter became a roaring yell. His face was now full with rage- My dad snarled at him, "Really? If you think he was with you, you think he'll learn much more stuff?" He cooled himself down and turned away, slamming the door behind him as I yelled, "Wait! Dad-" I turned towards the raging man and mumbled, "W-what did he mean... that I live with you?" Severus sighed once more and tried explaining. "Lucius, who you call, dad, is actually not your father." The messaged roared in my mind like a raging fire. "Th-then... y-you are?" I asked, my heart racing. "No, The Dark Lord is," Severus replied after taking a deep breath. My eyes were widened so much that I thought my eyeballs were going to pop out. I could not belive it, me, a son of the evil wizard? The one I surely read in the Daily Prophet? The one my so called "dad" was talking about? I could not believe it, I had been tricked for 11 years! "By the way, you are in Hogwarts' Hospital Wing, much faster than the train can arrive at Hogwarts... We apparated here, but whatever, you don't know what it is! Anyways, you have learnt a fabulous spell I used on you earllier... it is called Sectumsempra." With that, Severus swept coldly out of the room and I was left alone in "Hogwarts Hospital Wing", my heart still thumping crazily like it was going to leap out of my chest. I smelled blood and noticed the blood stain on my cloak, although I could tell there were more, I just cleaned it with tissue.
