This shows how electric works throughout your house. I did not put the TV or anything else, only the light bulb. Those little yellow dots that you see are called electrons. And the black thing at the bottom is a switch. The green rectangle is the battery while the + is positive and the - is negative. It's always going to go from positive to negative. When the electron/electricity hits the light bulb it powers it up, but when there is no electron there is no powered light bulb. The electron travels from the battery.
