Autumn. It was afternoon. The sun, just under the horizon, and the clouds, a dense, thick gray hue. Only some of the sky, flecked through. The ground was filled with mud, and dust, from previous, drier times. You took a second to take a deep breath, the cedar, and fresh rain filled your lungs. The scent of wilderness, was calming. The mud, and crumpled, dry leaves. The moist ground, filled with evening dew, and the grass, turning a simple, dark shade of green. The rain dripped down like a flowing stream, making its way past roofs, and other obstacles. The rain fell right onto you, making you soaked. The mud became moist once more, and watery. The ground, as if a thirsty child, letting the rain soak inside. It smelled of water, and autumn. There was a few birds chirping in the trees, bathing themselves in the fresh, recently fallen water. The leaves crumpled, and the sky crackled, ever so faintly. The ground pattered with rain, and the dirt continued sucking in the water, as soon as it hit. The leaves crackled as you stepped on them, making a subtle noise. The clouds grew heavy with gray, and rain, as it poured harder. The leaves rustled in the distance, creating a calming noise. A nearby stream fled, with water rushing gently.
Just a lil project for school, y'know.
