She lived with her siblings, Tuna, Moon, Sun, and Pumpkin. She was best friends with Pumpkin. Pumpkin and Luna loved to play together. They would hunt, swim, run, and eat together. Nothing could separate them. Then one day, Luna followed her mother Rose to go hunting. Luna saw a golden butterfly that reminded her of her sister. She felt a little funny. Suddenly, Pumpkin dissapeared. Luna was very worried about her. Luna ran away from the group and searched all over for Pumpkin. Her family started to search for Luna. Rose was very upset that Luna had run off. Luna explained how Pumpkin went missing. The whole family searched together. For months. They never found Pumpkin. Slowly, one by one, the family got sick. Luna tried to help them. But..the sickness was horrible. Her family passed away. Luna cried in tears, missing her sister and her family. She was all alone. She missed her sister, and realized there was no point of living on. She decided to lit the forest on fire. She searched for a human. Once she found one, she tackled them and stole their lighter. She ran off far into the woods. She grabbed the lighter and lit a tree on fire. The tree fell onto another, slowly the fire rising. It burnt down a lot of trees. The flames came far above the sky. Luna was about to let herself die when suddenly she saw something flutter past.. a golden butterfly. Luna saw hope. She could see her sister in her mind. She cried, meowing for help, jumping up and down. The fire was too big. She heard calls from beyond the fire. Luna slipped and couldn't get up. Luna saw her sister far in the distance running towards her. She heard her sister crying. Luna closed her eyes as Pumpkin's voice faded. Everything was darkness. Then..after what must have been thousands of years..Luna woke up. She was underground. Her face was filled with dirt. She dug her way out to reach the surface. Luna gasped for breath and looked around. She had been in a grave. There were tall green trees standing where the burnt down ones had been. The grass was green, and flowers were everywhere. Luna looked around nervously and got out of the grave completely. Something had happened..a miracle. Luna was alive..but time had passed..a lot of it.
