press green flag, then right arrow to progress to the next season
Car performance is based off performance so far this season over the first 6 races I am thinking about switching audi's colour to stay stake's green because the colour looks nicer than grey if a load of drivers appear as placeholders in red bulls just press right arrow till it fixes itself Not all F2 drivers for the F2 championship have been confirmed yet, once the lineup is confirmed I will correct the f2 grid accordingly. Recent Additions: - made Merc, Ferrari and Red Bull remain good for the first 10 seasons, and VCARB, Haas and Williams (to a lesser extent) remain not so great. The other 4 teams (Stake/Audi, Aston Martin, Alpine and Mclaren) still have the potential to be good or bad in the first 10 season - There is however still potential for some of these backmarckers to do well, or frontrunners to do badly - added Hamilton to Ferrari in 2025 - Changed Sauber to Stake F1 and changed the team colour to bright green - Now I get disappointed when Audi comes in because that silver colour is kinda dull - Changed Alpha Tauri to 'Visa Cashapp RB' - this one caused me pain - Changed Alpha Tauri to the blue colour on the VCARB badge New features of this version: - added all the f2 drivers - added an f2 championship simulation that runs in the background each season - made additions to the driver transfer system, which makes teams more likely to fire bad drivers, and f2 champions more likely to be recruited - added a year counter - added a realistic future for the Alfa Romeo team (they become Stake in 2024 and 2025, then become Audi after that) - made the loading of a new season slightly quicker - fixed various small glitches and inconsistencies -added team symbols -added some team name changing between Alpine and Renault, - Made Red Bull and AlphaTauri more likely to swap between drivers, - made Audi more likely to sign a German driver when they join in 2026 Coming updates: These are things I want to add to the game at some point, feel free to suggest anything else to add to the list: - retirement system - f3 drivers who replace f2 drivers if they leave f2 - drivers with random names to replace f3 then f2 then f1 drivers as more retire - more new teams that can join the grid in place of the old ones - system to display the number of points each driver and team got next to their name - system that allows the result of each individual race to be displayed How much longer can I get away with pretending these changes are new for? Car and driver stats will be updated throughout the real life season as the realistic performances become more obvious Don't try and start a new season too soon after finishing the last one, as it won't work and will only break the display. If this happens just wait a few seconds and press to start the new season again, it won't cause any non visual glitches This version is mostly just a copy paste job from the 2023 simulation with some various updates regarding driver changes and pace changes - the speeds of each car are loosely based on last season, but bought closer together to make the simulation more interesting
