I am a pianist, ukulelist, writer, and an artist! This is my first project and I can't wait to see what you all think! Credits: ⚘ Donna: Lumineers, III ⚘ Piano by me ⚘ Art by me, made in Photoshop ⚘ @Embark for the amazing bubbles, for being an amazing friend, and for being an amazing person. Notes: ⚘ I filmed this with the door open to my piano room so you can hear crickets because it is night! (I used scratch for the continuous rain sound to add more texture to the song and the themes presented among the sheet music!) ⚘ It took many takes to get a good recording because I kept stressing when I made the tiniest error! ⚘ Memorized! Art Notes: First Drawing- When I listened to Donna for the first time, I was at a Lumineers concert a few years back with my family. When I heard the piano it felt mystic and full of fantasy. Present day, I started learning the amazing song on the piano and felt as if drawing these major, minor, diminished, and augmented cords would complete me. Second Drawing- Unrelated but, I drew this after I went on a hike along a super pretty path. Third Drawing- I drew this after going to the beach with my sisters and I saw this location and knew I had to draw it. It was a gloomy and cold day but the location was full of life. The reason why I added this to the drawing album was because this song is gloomy but full of life through every ritardando, crescendo, and diminuendo.
