I was walking up the steps to the astronomy tower. Even though it was late at night, I was tired, and confused. No matter what it was, I could always talk to Alex about it. I got to the tower and sat on the ground next to him. I sighed in relief of just being there. "You good?" He says concerned. I was usually my happy go-lucky self, but something wasn't right. "Honestly, no. I read and talked to Tom Riddle's diary. And Arie told me that Tom Riddle is actually Voldemort." I spoke. I could tell him, right? I knew I could trust Alex, out of all people. "Aurora, you shouldn't mess with that!" He said angered. "Did you know that Voldemort made some sort of things called Horcruxes? Have you even seen Ginny? She's spelled by something in that diary! I don't want that to happen to you..." He said sad. "Yes, I know what a Horcrux is! But what is really wrong with Ginny? She talked weird and all that, but how is she spelled? And whatever it is, it's not going to happen to me!" I argued back. It's just a diary! Besides, I like playing with fire. "Aurora..." he looked at me with fear. "Ginny's been spelled by the Horcrux. I saw her earlier today, and she was panicking trying to find it. I think that you would've already got spelled by now if you could. I have a theory, if you're willing to hear it." "Go ahead." "I think that you are an ancestor of Voldemort. Hear me out! The Notts are a very powerful pure-blood family, and a lot of pure-bloods have a connection. I'm almost certain that you are connected to the Malfoys, and the Malfoys are connected to the Lestrange's, and that connects to the blacks, which connects to the Potters, and in all, connects to Voldemort, and the Riddles." I took a breath. This was a lot to take in! Me, being connected to the Riddles! "I think I'll leave now." I said, needing to sleep on it. "Rora, wait." I heard him say behind me. I turned around. "The year's about to end, and I would just like to know if you, and your brother if he would like to come, would be interested in joining my family over summer?" He looked at me hopefully. "Of course, Alex! I would love to come, but my brother would probably prefer to stay with the Malfoys." I forgot all my problems there and then. I'm staying with my best friend over summer break! I was walking back to my dorm, and when I walked in, I saw Maddie sitting on a chair. "Where have you been!? I was here worrying my head off, thinking you were in deep trouble." She mocked a mother. "Sorry mom." I said and jumped into my bed. "Seriously, where were you? I thought you died for a second there." She laughed. "I didn't, now shut your trap and let me sleep!" I yelled back at her, since she headed to the restroom. I heard her laugh. The next day, I sat with Theo at breakfast. "Can I talk to you?" I said to him. "Yeah. What's up, Lil' sis?" He smiled at me. "What do you know about Voldemort?" He nearly spit out his juice. "Not so loud! Why in the world would you want to know anything about him! Let's go in a different room, kay?" His face was white. "Kay." I said, walking with him to- I actually don't know where. Oh boy, big talk, huh?
