"Yes!" a random voice exclaimed, mostly likely excited from the beeps that were produced. "We finally did it!" a different voice announced, "It took us 6 weeks, 2 days, and 3 hours..." "Good job, everyone!" the voices around started cheering and that's when this story begun. ... The creature that was made by those of the cheering was a creature with... a screen head? It watched the creatures that were standing on two legs intently, observing them carefully. It wondered where it was and why it was there. One of the cheering two-legged creatures turned to face this newly created creature. "It woke up!" the creature in front of it said to the others. The creature started introducing itself. "I am a human and they are too," the "human" points to the other "humans," "We created you out of a TV, sea monster, and feline. Your name is B3-TV8. Do you feel okay?" The creature, a mix of a television, sea monster, and feline cocked its head to the side. Somehow, B3-TV8 could understand these so called humans. It looked at the human with a screen face that showed confusion. The human only nodded. "You can see through a thing that's like a visor, correct? And you can't see color?" B3-TV8 slowly and hesitantly nodded. It was true that it couldn't see what was pink or blue or green and it also had a technological visor thing in front of its eyes. The human smiled when B3-TV8 nodded. "Let's let you out..." The human started to press some buttons, which opened the clear tube that B3-TV8 was in. B3-TV8 cautiously walked out of the tube and observed its surrounding. There was about 6 to 8 humans in this domed cylindrical building that had many laptops, television screens, parts of a sea monster, and felines in metal cages. All of a sudden, B3-TV8 felt bad for those felines. It looked up at the humans and used its screen face along with the other screens floating around it to explain how and why they should let the felines in the cages out. Unfortunately, the humans shook their heads. "We need to do further experiments with them. We understand that you want to let them out, however, we need to use them. If we don't need them in the end, we can let them out, okay?" B3-TV8 reluctantly nodded. It already didn't trust the humans completely. ... It had already been 5 and a half months since they had created B3-TV8. They were all working together happily, conducting experiments. To B3-TV8's relief, they let out rest of the felines that were not going to be used. That earned the trust that B3-TV8 had lost. Until this. ... B3-TV8 was helping the humans when a loud blast of a bomb was heard outside of the laboratory. In an instant, all the scientists were transporting things outside. B3-TV8 hurriedly approached one of the nicest scientists and asked, "What's happening?" with its screens. Unfortunately, the scientist just ignored it, packing up objects into a box. B3-TV8 galloped outside and onto the deck of the floating laboratory. It studied its surroundings, which consisted of scientists transporting boxes, yelling "they've found us," and a helicopter hovering above, getting ready to drop another bomb. When it noticed all the scientists jumping into the submarine parked next to the dock of the laboratory, it jumped in as well. However, when it got on, a scientist pushed it off, yelling, "We're ready!" [+]
[+] As soon as B3-TV8 fell, they left off, no one bothering to fetch him out of the water. It was alone and just barely floating above water level. It pondered the meaning of life and why it trusted humans. B3-TV8 realized that it should've trusted its guts, that made it not trust humans fully. BOOM! A bomb had land only a couple feet away from B3-TV8 and effected it majorly. Its limbs started malfunctioning and it injured its left leg. As B3-TV8 started sinking, it decided, if it ever lived longer, it would have people refer to it as "Kaida" and not "B3-TV8." It most definitely didn't mind people calling it "B3-TV8" but it would prefer "Kaida" much more. Slowly, it closed its eyes that were behind a visor as it went into an infinite darkness. ... B3-TV8 suddenly flung its eyes open to see that it was in a cozy home in the woods. There were two bandaids on it's left leg where it had gotten injured. It felt comfortable with those bandaids so it kept them on. It could hide what had happened, the ugly scars of the past. It cautiously got up and saw two other creatures, one with an earthy tone and soft yellow eyes and another with monotones and pink, yellow, green, and teal patterns. The monotonous one approached B3-TV8 and introduced both of them. "My name is Rem and that over there is Haniko! What's your name?" Using its floating screens around it, it displayed, "My name is B3-TV8 but call me Kaida, please." Both Rem and Haniko nodded. "Alright!" Kaida, in a long time, had put on a happy display on its face screen. "I'm guessing you can't talk so you communicate with those screens?" Haniko softly inquired. Kaida nodded, displaying, "Yup, that's about right," on one of its screen. Haniko led both Kaida and Rem to her kitchen and handed them both a pie. "I made new pies so hope you enjoy!" She smiled at them with overflowing joy that radiated happiness. Kaida took a bit of the pie that was handed to it and displayed a surprised emote pretty quickly, displaying, "Wow! That's delicious!" on a different screen. Haniko grinned. "I'm glad you like it." Rem nodded excitedly, mumbling, "Your pies are the greatest..." Haniko grinned even wider and mentioned how cool she was for making amazing pies. In a playful manner, Rem glared at her, arguing that making really good pies didn't make you super cool. Kaida watched them playfully argue, throwing sarcastic comments at each other and having a great time in general. Suddenly, it spoke up. "Could I stay here with you guys?" a floating screen asked. Haniko and Rem looked at each other and nodded enthusiastically. A bright smile crept up on Kaida's face as the two amazing animals in front of it agreed to its suggestion. It was so glad they didn't question where it had come from and why it was so different from themselves. It was potentially the best day that Kaida had so far. No matter whatever happened a couple hours beforehand, it was still the best day ever. And from that day on, the three of them lived happily together. Even though they argued sometimes, they all made up by the end of the day, making long excuses of why they were behaving like that, causing an eruption of laughter from the others.
