Here are basically all of the things in the game explained. ~ Buildings ~ In order, the buildings are File Corruption, Dragging Internet, ??????????, Large Projects, Faulty Servers, Government Block and 8th April '21. Their base productions per building are 0.18, 1.5, 10, 53, 227, 1,226, and 15,724, with base costs of 20, 160, 1,500, 14,000, 185,000, 3,000,000 and 125,000,000 question marks. The price of a building is multiplied by (1.14 + (building number / 40)) every time it is bought. ~ Upgrades ~ There are 7 upgrades that double their respective building's production for each one bought (and in File Corruption's case, the base QMPC), and one upgrade that make an extra 1.5% of your QMPC get added to your QMPC for each upgrade bought, which costs 60,000 question marks. The base costs for the building upgrades are 275, 1,800, 16,500, 155,000, 2,250,000, 40,000,000 and 1,650,000,000 question marks, with an upgrade's cost multiplying by (8 multiplied by the upgrade's former multiplier) each time it is bought. ~ Settings ~ When Fancy Graphics is disabled, simple variable and list reporters are displayed for the on-screen info, and the buildings are displayed as clones, but with it enabled, both the buildings and text, using pen, are printed on the screen to convey that info. That's why the info looks very pixel-ly with FG enabled, because pen is bound to the stage's base resolution of 480x360. Disabling this may improve performance. This originally used clones, which heavily impacted performance, and, because I used the clones exactly how pen stamping is used to convey info in the same way, I decided to save a copy of it where I tested the possibility of pen stamping. However, because pen is printed on the BD layer, the building clones went in front of it, and had to be pen as well. This worked really well, and performance was drastically improved using this, so I decided to copy it over to the main game. Particles makes "QUESTION MARK-ticles" rain in the background respective to your QMPS, and they'll also appear when the QUESTION MARK is clicked. Disabling this may improve performance. Building Info is simple; it makes the buildings report individual production, production by all of that building, % of QMPS produced by the building, and its cost, when set to 1 or 2. Setting it to 2 makes it update all of the time, with 1 making it update only if not being hovered over. Setting this to 0 or 1 may improve performance over 2. SFX simply toggles the sound effects. ~ Sneak Peeks ~ The final game will probably only have a few additions, such as certain elements to keep you occupied, ascension, probably, ?nd may?e ?om??hin? ?l?e.?.
