[continuation from In The Rain] (please note that when i write @faiiryracha on my fics, it means that its a new paragraph!) @faiiryracha @faiiryracha @faiiryracha @faiiryracha “I told you it was cold.” Chan scolded as he tucked Julie into his bed. Julie shook her head. “Chan, I’m fine!” She said, sitting up. Chan pushed her back down, tucking her in again. “Stay there and sleep.” He said sternly. Julie rolled her eyes. “Chan, don’t you think you’re overdoing it a little?” She asked. Chan sat down on the bed. “I’m never overdoing anything for my baby.” He said, pinching her cheeks. Julie grumbled something about chan being cringe and chan smiled at her. “Fine, I’ll sleep.” She finally relented. It was just because she was tired, not because she felt a tickling in her throat, right? @faiiryracha @faiiryracha @faiiryracha @faiiryracha When Julie woke up, her throat ached in a way she didn’t think was possible. She groaned quietly, why oh why did Chan have to be right? It had been too cold. She made a mental note to bring a jacket wherever she went. When she checked her phone, she found it was 4am. Pulling on one of Chan’s hoodies - she said it was just because she needed a jacket - Julie gathered her stuff, trying to stem her stuffy nose. She snuck past Chan’s study, leaving his dorm in favour of her own apartment where Kat and Harper were. @faiiryracha @faiiryracha @faiiryracha “Kat? Harper?” Julie’s voice was hoarse as she called Harper and Kat. Harper peeked from her bedroom door, eyes widening at the state of Julie. “Julie! What did you do?” Harper demanded. Julie shrugged, sniffling. Harper sighed, passing Julie a tissue. “I was going to go visit Han but just looking at you gives me the feeling that that plan has been cancelled today.” Julie looked at Harper quizzically. “You’re visiting Han at- what- 4:30am?” Julie asked. Her throat itched. Harper rolled her eyes. “Ms (unofficial) Bang, shush. You should get to bed.” Harper fussed. “Where’s Kat?” Julie asked as she settled into her bed, “At the uni. She’s busy with homework. I can call and ask her to com-“ “No, it’s fine.” Julie sighed. “Can I have Panadol or something?” Harper held out pills and a cup of water. Julie downed them, turning drowsy. “You can still go out. All I’ll be doing is sleeping and if I need anything I’ll call.” Julie mumbled. “You sure?” Harper asked. Julie hummed in agreement and Harper left Julie to sleep. “Julie, baby.” Chan’s gentle voice roused her from her sleep, groaning as she felt a stabbing pain in her throat. “Chan?” She rasped. “Yeah, I’m here.” Chan helped her sit up, eyes softening as he saw her in his hoodie. “I wondered where my favourite hoodie went.” “Sorry.” Julie reached for a tissue, blowing her nose. Chan held out Panadol and another glass of water, “It’s 12.” He explained. Julie nodded, downing the medicine. It took a few minutes, but after a while, the pain in her throat dulled. “Thanks.” Julie smiled at chan. “I’d ask for a kiss but I don’t think I wanna get sick.” Chan said. Julie rolled her eyes. “Need anything else?” “Hugs?” Julie asked hopefully. Chan was a human heater. “Sure.” Chan settled beside her in the bed, wrapping his arms gently around her. “Now sleep. I want my julie-baby fully healthy and functioning.” [extra] Harper came back to the dorm with Han, just to grab her phone charger. She peeked to check on julie, the smallest smile on her face as she saw Chan and Julie asleep, cuddling. “Cute.” Han huffed. Harper jumped, not noticing Han there. Han pulled out his phone and quickly snapped a picture before grabbing Harper’s hand and running with her out the door. Kat came back to the apartment, laughing at Lee Know through the phone. “Yahhhh, seriously, leave the cats alone.” Kat scolded. She walked into Julie’s room to put back their shared phone charger when she noticed Chan and Julie snuggle sleeping. She blinked, not believing her eyes before spluttering. She exited the room quickly, Lee Know worriedly asking if she was alright. “I just witnessed chanlie.” Kat mumbled.
