Adrien walked towards the house, coffee in hand, and plucked a single flower, which he left on the gate. He hoped the others didn't think he'd left them on purpose, he'd really meant to end up at the orphanage, but in the back of his mind, he had wanted to go to Godric's Hollow, the place where Harry and him where born. He kept walking, and found it suprisingly relaxing, to be on his own. He walked into a muggle shop, and bought Opal a gift which he put into a tiny sack adorned with a ribbon. "Adrien!" A voice shouted, and Hermione threw her arms around him. "Where have you been?" "Yeah, and why did you send us somewhere else, and went here?" Ron huffed. "I didn't mean to! Honest to the angel!" Adrien said, holding up his hands. Hermione frowned, and cogs seemed to be turning in her brain. "You just were thinking about it weren't you?" She asked, and Adrien nodded. "Wait- where's Opal?" Harry asked. "I swear she was-" Adrien grabbed their arms, and apparated back to the orphanage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Opal!" Adrien called out, walking around near the sea caves, worried and scared. "Opal!!!!" Harry shouted. Adrien caught a glimpse of a figure lying on the ground, and ran toward her. He took her in his arms, and she stirred, and opened her eyes. "Adrien! Don't go! I am good enough I swear! Father I'll do better I promise!" She yelped, crying. "Woah, sunshine I'm right here! I'm not going anywhere anytime soon! Where am I gonna go without you? Walmart?" Adrien said, and Opal chuckled despite herself. Adrien grabbed out the gift he'd bought, and gave the photo frame to Opal. Inside it was a picture of them both, talking and laughing, Opal wearing Adrien's jumper, and Adrien wearing a white button-down. The last time they'd seen each other before the holidays last year. Opal sat up, and leaned into Adrien, hugging the photo to her chest like it was the most precious thing in the world. "The Horcrux, my fears, you were in it." She whispered. "You're afraid of me?" Adrien asked, slightly hurt. He was so non-scary not even a squirrel would run away from him. "No. Afraid of losing you. With Hannah and you so close, I-" She trailed off. "Yes, Hannah and I are close. I trust her with my life. And I love her. I love her like a sister." Adrien told Opal, and she fiddled with her necklace. After a moment, she nodded. "Adrien, what you you she if the horcrux showed you your fears?" Opal asked. Adrien winced. "Pigeons".
