Practically, my issues with the originals were that they felt too slow, boring, dry, noisy (conflicting sounds, disorganized) for my tastes. Many had brilliant melodies (which I left unchanged) that were held back by too much clutter and lack of proper support. So here I tweaked some tempos, implemented saucy drum beats, added proper chords, got rid of instruments and bars that felt like clutter. LOTS OF REVERB so that it's not "dry."
