Chapter 9 Plan The next morning, the Ravenclaw common room was empty with silence. “Merry Christmas, Lena!” Lavanta cried from the downstairs. “You too, Lavanta!” Lena replied cheerfully. “So! Why didn’t you choose to go to your home for the holidays?” Lavanta questioned. “I’ve changed my mind. I have a plan. I’ve been talking about it with Hermione all over the term,” Lena explained. “You know, my mum,” Lena whispered seriously as Lavanta nodded slowly. “Hermione has a Time-Turner, and that gave the idea to go back in time to-” “You are not thinking that, are you? Because if it’s that, it’s really, really dangerous.” Lavanta asked cautiously. “Yes, I am thinking that and Hermione also agreed,” Lena continued. “I know that this is illegal, using the Time-Turner without the Ministry’s permission, but I really feel like it.” Lavanta opened her mouth but closed them and became speechless. Suddenly, Lavanta cried, “I’m coming with you.” “What?!” Lena eyed Lavanta suspiciously. “I’m coming with you.” Lavanta reassured Lena. Lena froze for a moment as Lavanta smiled back warmly. “But..But you can’t do that! I won’t allow you! This is illegal, Lanvanta, illegal! I can’t let you do this kind of dangerous things!” Lena said. “But you are letting yourself do it. If you must do it, then I can’t let you do it yourself.” Lavanta smiled. “But..But….” Lena hesitated. “Don’t worry! What’s wrong about going back in time? There’s nothing dangerous going on in that period, are there?” Lavanta laughed. “You are the greatest friend no one can ever ask for.” Lena replied hugging her best friend. “Ha, silly you!” Lavanta joked. After a speechless moment, Lavanta asked Lena, “But how about Harry? Harry’s parents are….you know, too!” “Harry needs to defeat You-Know-Who. Hermione has her plans about me and Harry,” Lena replied with a smile, “It’s Hermione the Wise, you know that.”
