Pip’s opinion:All around the world more and more books are getting banned for no reason. They are trying to ban captain underpants for being “inappropriate”. I love those books, I just finished reading a banned book called ghost boys and it is so amazing. It’s banned because of a boy dying by the police. A black boy. I think that the scratch Community can stop this. Thank you. Please remix and sign, we can change the world. Trever’s opinion : so I have only read a few banned books , but we should not be banning LGBTQIAP+ books or books about people or color or any books, I mostly read LGBTQIAP+ books , like “Millisa” by Alex Gino ( previously titled George ) or “ Rick” by Alex Gino or “Both Can Be True by Jules Machias , I loved ALL of those books and there getting banned :( pls stop this Moth's opinion: literally all da LGBTQ+ books I read are banned now, why, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Angie’s opinion, ig: I don’t think any books should be banned, unless they are actually harmful, and I don't see how being a person of color or LGBTQIA+ can be harmful. Some books, such as Harry Potter and Charlottes Web have been banned at some schools. Seriously, Charlotte’s Web. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas has been banned, and its about a black teenager who see’s a police officer shoot and kill her friend. That happens in real life, so they basically just don't want us to know about real life? To quote one of my favorite songs, Another Brick In The Wall by Pink Floyd, “We don't need no education, we don't need no thought control, hey teacher leave them kids alone!”
