Hai! 1. Q: What's the title of your current WIP? A: "Cloud Novella" coz I'm still in the early development process and can't be bothered to name anything properly 2. Q: Do you know what the cover will look like? A: Honestly no idea, maybe a zoomed out picture of Earth with a bunch of puffy clouds in the sky, kind of like the view from an airplane window. 3. Q: Who is your favorite character? A: Assuming you mean from someone else's book and not my own, this is impossible for me to answer, but I'm gonna say Juniper from the Doran Trilogy by Monica Furlong as ONE of my favorite characters. 4. Q: Who is your least favorite character? A: Assuming you mean from someone else's book and not my own, this is again impossible for me to answer, but I'll say Schaffa from The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin as ONE of my least favorite characters. 5. Q: How long did it take to find your writing style? A: I'm still trying to figure it out... 6. Q: Do you like your writing style? A: My current style? I think I've improved a lot since I first began writing novels, though I still have a ways to go before I feel entirely confident with it, because it can be a bit overly-descriptive or repetitive sometimes. Also overly-dramatic when it comes to cliffhangers - I have to work on that the most, I think. 7. Q: Exposition, dialogue, or worldbuilding? A: Dialogue. It lets me get really comfortable and personal with my characters without risking boring the reader with too much background info at first. Then again, I tend to do a little exposition as well... 8. Q: What's your favorite book? A: IMPOSSIBLE TO CHOOSE!!!! DO NOT MAKE ME DECIDE!!! >:( 9. Q: Who's your favorite author? A: IMPOSSIBLE TO CHOOSE!!!! DO NOT MAKE ME DECIDE!!! >:( 10. Q: What's your least favorite book? A: Oof... Well, maybe Where the Red Fern Grows. I have to be clear, though, this is NOT because of the writing style or anything to do with the book itself. I LOVED the writing style, the plot, pretty much everything, actually... But the ending was devastating, and as a sensitive animal-lover, it was just too much for me. 11. Q: Who's your least favorite author? A: Not sure I could just front-forwardly pick a least favorite author, because there's usually some books I like and some I don't like as much from the same person. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. 12. Q: What book/series are you currently reading? A: I just finished "The Fifth Season" (book 1) by N.K. Jemisin and I want to read the rest of the trilogy. 13. Q: What's the last book you read? A: I forgot... 14. Q: Writing in the early morning, noon, afternoon, or evening? A: Evening because that's the only time I have. Otherwise I'm at school, doing homework, lessons, extra curriculars, etc... 15. Q: What music do you listen to while you write? A: I have this little Google device on my desk and I just tell it to play "calming instrumental music." There's this playlist it plays every time, usually with acoustic guitar or piano, though I forget what's it called. I like this because instrumental allows me to concentrate, without having to deal with utter silence. 16. Q: Which popular book stole a idea you had when you were ten? A: Lol... Honestly some of Rick Riordan's books, I'm sorry... 17. Q: Angst or fluff? A: Angst. Dread is fun, and fluff gets old too fast. 18. Q: Favorite genre to read? A: Mythology, fantasy, realistic-fiction, sci-fi (only if done REALLY WELL), murder/horror-mystery, historical-fiction... Should I go on? 19. Q: Favorite genre to write? A: I used to do a lot of medieval/renaissance fantasy and some realistic-fiction, though right now I'm experimenting with historical-fiction and, like, fictional-history if that makes any sense XD. Later I might try out sci-fi or dystopian, and we'll see where I go from there :D
20. Q: Least favorite genre to read? A: So, I like biographies and sci-fi, but I am really picky about them, and it's just too easy for authors to ruin those genres for me. Sowe... 21. Q: Least favorite genre to write? A: Honestly realistic-fiction... It's easiest but it gets cliched and boring too fast... 22. Q: Give me a summary of your current wip's plot A: Can't. I'm still in the development phase :D 23. Q: How do you come up with characters? A: Brainstorm, stare into nothingness, brainstorm, sleep, 3 AM idea, stare into a void, type random words, etc. 24. Q: How do you come up with character names? A: Name generator, special list I've accumulated, or research for a deeper meaning. 25. Q: When is your main character's birthday? A: Okay I don't even know their /name/yet -_- 26. Q: Cereal A: Sure. 27. Q: Do you like having background noise while you write? (music, white noise, tv, etc) A: Instrumental music, but NO TALKING WHATSOEVER. 28. Q: What's your wpm? A: Like 100 or something like that… 29. Q: Romance? A: YESSSSS 30. Q: Tea, coffee, cocoa, or something else? A: Coffee, cocoa, coconut juice, and Lacroix (a type of bubbly water) 31. Q: Opinion on love triangles? A: Overrated (in 98% of cases) 32. Q: Romance in your book? A: I want it, but I'm not the best at it, so I kind of avoid it, unless I really want it, in which case I need a lot of editing time XD 33. Q: Character death, or does everyone live? A: Character death almost always. Idk... It just feels right? (BRO that sounded wrong!) 34. Q: Have you thought up the cover yet? A: Nope. Not even close =D I mean I have vague ideas, but nothing strung together... 35. Q: Dragons or robots? A: Neither. 36. Q: Who's your OTP in your own book? A: I don't have a ship name for them yet, but Iris & Scarlet 4ever (lgbtq+ relationship and no this isn't from my current WIP sadlyyyyyyyyyyy <333) 37. Q: Who's your OTP in other books? A: SOLANGELO 38. Q: How many tabs do you have open. Be honest. A: 13 including Scratch. But they're all grouped into different sections to be super organized. 39. Q: How many WIPs are you working on besides the main one? A: Technically one but not really. I'm actually doing pretty good on that front for once. 40. Q: Give me your dream cast for your book's eventual movie! A: Uhm... Idk the names of actors... 41. Q: What's your main character's name? A: Good question 42. Q: Do you hate or love your main character? A: I love my novel that will eventually have a main character if I can survive the development process for once :D 43. Q: have you drawn your mc? you should put the drawing (or their description) in the project A: First of all, my mc doesn't exist yet. Second of all, I suck at drawing beyond words lol 44. Q: What's your character's social status? A: Okay, /this/ I know: literally as freaking poor as possible. All of Earth is. Wealth doesn't exist and can't be accumulated either. It's kinda post-apocalypse, except there never was an apocalypse, there's just no wealth. 45. Q: What's your mc's species? A: Human. Earth is still Earth in the story 46. Q: Do you like fairytale retellings? A: Meh. If you do it well, sure. 47. Q: Favorite character from other books? A: I CANNOT PHYSICALLY CHOOSE!!!!!!!!!!! 48. Q: Least favorite character from other books? A: I CANNOT PHYSICALLY CHOOSE!!!!!!!!!! 49. Q: do you write digital or notebook? A: Digital b/c it's faster and easier to correct mistakes, but if I can't access my computer, virtually any source of paper I can get ahold of (yes I do have good penmanship >:D) 50. Add your own question here for the next person Q: Do you like to snack while writing? A: Don't ask me...
