Well... this is it. This is it for my beloved Nintendo 2DS. Because my parents will only allow me to have one 3DS/2DS console, and that I can't continue to be power-offed at random with my 2DS, I am getting a Nintendo 3DS to replace my crippled 2DS that I have cherished, loved and taken care of for almost 6 whole years. Whoof. That's a long time, especially since I'm a 13-year-old boy. Some of you may already know of the tragedy that occurred to my 2DS over a year ago. If you don't, the short summary was that I lost my control over my emotions and abused my Nintendo 2DS. This made it unplayable, until I fixed it early this year. It still had a ton of inconsistencies, but I was so overjoyed to have my friend back. This guy I got way back on December 3rd, 2017, for my 8th birthday, when I was trying to get a Nintendo Switch. Now, that's pure nostalgia for me. I was disappointed and kinda didn't appreciate it, but now, I appreciate it more than ever before. I played my games on it over the years, growing as a gamer. All of those games are each nostalgic in their own theme and way for me, like Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Super Mario Maker, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World, Mario Sports Superstars, Mario Party: Star Rush, Garfield Kart, Mario Party: The Top 100, Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Yoshi's Island DS, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, Hey! Pikmin, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. I'll still be able to experience the greatness of those games on my 3DS, but no console will never bring out that greatness than the feel of my Nintendo 2DS. This 2DS provided me with joy and comfort throughout school, COVID-19, wartime, loss, and just difficult times in general. I wish I could describe the nostalgia I have in those games, but it's so complex and confusing that it may just not be understandable to you. I will never forget my Nintendo 2DS. I will long remember it. I'm sorry, 2DS, and thank you for everything.
