This is a simulation that simulates the decay/half-life of Carbon-14. This (while not being mandatory; i just did it for fun) was for my STEM/Science class. (note: Carbon-14 will be abbreviated as C14 Note: for some reason, scratch half-lived my project because half of the atom number sprites DISSAPEARED (ironic) Press Space to instantly generate 100 C14. Press E to slowly generate 100 C14 (satisfying). Press R to decay. Press W to test the error message Logic: The decay process goes as follows: Each clone has a 50/50 chance of decaying. If it decays it disappears off of the display and puts on the list that it has decayed. The "decayed" and "undecayed" variables (found at the very top of the project) list how many decayed and undecayed C14s there are, respectively (don't worry about the asterisks (*) those are just for sorting while coding). The "turns" variable (found right below the "undecayed" variable) shows how many times you've pressed R since the last time you generated more C14s. The "showBoundries" variable (again, the ? is just for sorting - that shows that it's a state - something that's only ever 1 or 0) decides whether you can see the borders of which the visual C14 spawns. Use the built-in slider to change that. Finally, the "Carbon-14" list shows all of the C14s, whether they are decayed or not. If undecayed, it will be just a number. If decayed, it will say "<number here> has decayed.". Thank you for reading this far!
