He was depressed there, and, even worse, the humans tried to clip his wings. He always bit and resisted so much they gave up the idea. But even then, he was miserable. One day, a redheaded girl came, and her family got him out of the terrible pet store. She had beady little blue eyes and she constantly abused Quacky. After a year, Quacky had had enough. It was summertime in Florida now. When the family put him on the balcony to breath fresh air, he unlocked his cage and flew away. He found a flock of his own kind and lived there, amongst other Quacker Parrots, in true joy.
