Welcome to the Roguelike Dev Part 7. How to win: Move to a colored door on the stage and enter it by pressing the directional key that points towards it to advance to the next level. As of this version, there is no "win condition." Controls: W moves you UP S moves you DOWN D moves you RIGHT A moves you LEFT E moves you DIAGONAL UP-RIGHT Q moves you DIAGONAL UP-LEFT C moves you DIAGONAL DOWN-RIGHT Z moves you DIAGONAL DOWN-LEFT X toggles RUN (while running, you can move more spaces in your chosen direction at once. Use this to finish levels faster and hop over enemies!) ARROW KEYS let you PLACE BRIDGES in the direction of the respective key. You cannot place bridges diagonally. No attack controls yet! Tips: - Enemies will kill you in one hit in this version, but they only kill you if they're standing on the same tile as you. This rule extends to Cannonballs, which will ONLY kill you if they LAND on the tile you are standing on. So keep moving, and stay off the tiles that Cannonballs are headed for! - Enemies, except Cannonballs, cannot move onto diagonal tiles or bridges in this version. Use this to your advantage to stay out of reach! - Conserve your bridges as much as you can, as some stages are difficult or impossible without their use. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS (so they're easier for me to add between versions): TboI- Concept inspiration Pilotredsun- Music MrDragon5- Some voice acting All visual art and design assets, and some (currently unused) sound assets, are made by me.
