Chapter 1 ''Come IvyBlossom!'' The tom beckoned. ''I'm coming!'' The young queen called. Ashstar laughed, '' It looks like the litter is really showing now!'' IvyBlossom was soon to have kits, and the weight on her was affecting her hunting, and running. The two cats scrambled up the steep hill. ''Just a few more of these, do you think you can make it?'' Ashstar asked. ''Fine. But never do this again to me when I am to have kits.'' IvyBlossom growled. Darkstar rolled his eyes and carried on, leaving Ivystar to huff and puff on her own. ''As the clan leader, IvyBlossom, I expect to be treated with more respect.'' He joked. He thought it would make IvyBlossom laugh but she just growled and carried on. A few bends later, as IvyStar was slowly falling back, they came to a bend. Ashstar stopped and beckoned her, ''Look around.'' She angrily pushed past and rounded the bend, up to the highest peak. An intake of breath was heard as Ashstar came around and padded up to IvyBlossom. ''From here, you can see the whole of Duskclan's territory.'' IvyBlossom looked up, amazed, ''Is...Is this what our firstborn kit will rule when It is older?'' She questioned. ''Yes, IvyBlossom.'' ''It's beautiful! The mountains, the forest and the lake. I never knew our territory was so large!'' She turned and nuzzled into him. ''I love you.'' She said. ''I love you too.'' Ashstar replied. CRASH END OF CHAPTER 1
