||Chapter -5- Red Handed~|| After the warm-ups were finished with the whole class, the Gym teacher set up some balls in a line. “ALL RIGHT KIDS!” the teacher calls out to the class. “WE’RE GONNA BE PLAYING DODGEBALL!”. Everyone scattered around the gym. Mako’s team was a bunch of random people who she didn't know and Reed, the other team being Blaze, and a bunch of other random people. The coach blew the whistle and everyone raced to the balls and began throwing at each other. Mako stayed in the far back of her team so she didn't get hit. Everything was absolute pure chaos. There was one peculiar kid that was on Blaze’s team, Blake. He aims for particular people who he “Claimed” to dislike, one of those people being….Mako. No matter how many times he tried to throw a ball at her, the other kids purposely blocked her (The people who had a crush on her that is ^^”)Blaze saw the unfairness and shot a dirty look at Blake, seeming to warn him. Her look basically summarized “Throw that at her one more time and you will meet the end of your days.” so Blake seemed to back off for a bit. Mako wanted to try to impress Reed by getting a bunch of people out. She got a bunch of people out of Blaze’s team, Including Blake. Blaze, On the other hand, isn’t going to be out that easy…She is WAY competitive. Blaze sees what Mako has done and takes it personally; but doesn’t realize Mako is also competitive. Mako dodges and so does Blaze, This goes on for a few minutes until Blaze thinks that this needs to come to an end. She shot out a ball to Reed so Mako would have less power. (since she was trying to impress him)Mako is completely angry and from that point on Mako was in full GOD MODE. She tries her very hardest to knock Blaze out of the game, and possibly out of her consciousness but it seems that Blaze isn’t backing down. For one moment, Blaze threw a direct shot to Mako’s face, breaking the mask into two. From the impact, she takes two steps back. “E-EH!?” the mask breaks into two pieces and her face, for the first time, was finally revealed. Luckily no one was looking; But for one person…REED. Her dark blue eyes glanced around the room. Blaze quickly realized what happened and decided to help her. She grabbed the mask and secretly used her fire powers (That no one knew she even HAD, not even Mako.) to mend it together and put it on Mako. “Sorry…” Blaze whispered in an ashamed voice, Her face looking a bit pale as she ran back to the bathroom claiming she needed to wash her hand. She actually was trying to hide because she felt so bad the guilt was killing her. The feeling was so strong that she stayed there for a solid hour before running outside to try to find a place that sold some extra masks. Meanwhile; Before she left, Mako was standing still trying to avoid eye contact with Reed. Mako’s hands were shaking in anger and fear, from the fact that Reed saw her face and that Blaze had the absolute audacity to throw a ball to her face. Blaze was a people-pleaser and HATED it when people got mad at her or sad because of her..But also no one knew she also had anxiety and depression that she was trying to hide but it was getting too hard to do now...
