This reminded me of how much summer means to me and as I'm going to be writing a book of summer memories for this NaNoWriMo session I thought I might share these. Some of you might know that I moved a couple of years back, and since I'm homeschooled I don't know many people and don't have a lot of friends. Each summer I drive to an island with my parents where I stay with my grandpa, my family has been going there since my mom was little. That island is my happy place and is the only place where I've had friends for the past few years so it means a lot to me. The photo of the baby birds is one I took when I first moved about 3 years ago, each spring and throughout the summer we have birds nesting and laying eggs on our porch. The photo of the fireworks was from the 4th of July 2022 when we went on my friend's boat and ate Skittles and went nuts <3 The photo of the sky and the lights is from this August when I had dinner with two of my friends, it was....interesting as one of them has a twin and he had to come :| we wanted to strangle him the entire time cause he was so loud and kept insulting everyone The biking photo is of one of my friends and also was taken this August and is from one of our many night bike rides ^^ The ocean picture is from last June when I had a big family reunion in California, it was taken from my iPad (hence the bad quality) in the car.
