Use the left arrow to go back in artworks 5. Enjoy :) I don't really finish my art mostly because I lose interest, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't still have value. I'm going to share a bunch of my unfinished artworks with you guys and some completed ones too as well as the amount of time spent and any important background info on them. #1 Time: 30 mins Info: I just came across an image while looking for landscape references that was like this but in yellow and green so I decided to recreate it but in more cool toned colors. Nothing crazy lol #2 Time: 20 mins Info: I'm getting all the small art pieces out of the way now, but this one I made to be like a music album cover just cause I wanted to see if I could make one. Even for as little time as I spent on it, I still really like how it turned out. #3 Time: 6 hours Info: I was commissioned by someone to draw their dog and this is what I came up with. #4 Time: 4 hours Info: This one was a gift for my cousin who likes horses a lot. #5 Time: 40ish minutes Info: It's the main character (Vash) from an anime show called Trigun Stampede, I meant to turn it into a finished piece but I wound up just deciding it was better off as a sketch. #6 Time: 1 hour Info: Same guy as before but from a different angle and in color. I meant to do this thing where he'd be like face to face with the old version of his character since he's from the remake but I realized the clash of the art styles looked kind of funny to me and just kept the images separate. Time: 1 hour Info: This is supposed to be one of the main characters from a video game called Fire Emblem: Three Houses (FE3H), his name is Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd. This is the sketch and the next drawing is the final piece. Time: 8 hours Info: This took an eternity because I couldn't figure out how I wanted to color it in. That's unfortunately all there is to it. Time: *ahem* ... 20 hours Info: I spent several eternities working on the metal of the armor alone and this was hands down the longest I'd ever spent on a single piece especially for it to not even be totally done. I made the background and the characters separately before putting them together which was the biggest mistake I made because now the lighting and the character's interaction with the setting just doesn't look quite right. I was so sick of working on it that I just never did anything about it, not to mention the lance the guy is holding I never finished shading. Time: 6 hours Info: Sorry if this one uploaded poorly, but this was one of my first comic strips, containing 3 characters from the same video game from the Fire Emblem franchise. I was trying out a new water colorish art style that I actually really liked but I just got bored with the concept of this piece in particular. Time: 4 hours Info: Yet another comic strip. What makes this one unfinished is just that this was the only block of the comic that I could even sketch, let alone color in, so some of the context was lost but if I'm being honest, with context it probably wouldn't have made much sense either haha. The character's name is Dorothea Arnault from FE3H. Time: 30 mins Info: This is another main character from 3 Houses, I have SO MUCH fanart for this video game, it's actually ridiculous. Time: 3 hours Info: The character's name is Sylvain Jose Gautier from FE3H and the thing that makes this piece unfinished is that I never finished shading his outfit and I may or may not have forgotten to outline half of his hair. Time: 1 hour Info: I drew this extremely recently and I'll probably go back and add color soon. The character's name is Ashe Duran from FE3H and this was more of a project to make sure I could sketch bodies accurately more than anything. Time: 90 mins Info: Hands. I still hate drawing hands, but I understand them a bit better now at least. Time: 2 hours Info: It's a pencil portrait of a bunch of features of whatever I could google a tutorial for so not really any one person in particular. I already knew how to draw the hair and the eyes fine, but everything else was from tutorials. - - - Sorry I don't have any background music for this, I normally do but I figured the art was the main attraction anyway. I use Procreate, an iPad Pro, and an Apple pencil for all my artwork and I always use references off of Google in one way or another. Thanks for looking at my artwork, have a nice day :D
