Kurai grew up with his brother and 14 years after the explosion of his planet he went to earth and secretly trained under Master Roshi and later met trunks who he helped find goku by talking with Roshi. 7 years later he meets goku for the first time who teaches him how to go Super saiyan. Now kurai is training with whis and beerus to turn Super saiyan God, and Super saiyan Blue.
