Happy Red Ribbon week everyone! "Why do we even have Red Ribbon week?" Red Ribbon Week was started when drug traffickers in Mexico City murdered DEA agent Kiki Camarena in 1985. This began the continuing tradition of displaying red ribbons as a symbol of intolerance toward the use of drugs. "What's the point?" Today, the eight-day celebration is an annual catalyst to show intolerance for drugs in our schools, workplaces, and communities. Each year, on October 23-31, more than 80 million young people and adults show their commitment to a healthy, drug-free lifestyle by wearing or displaying the red ribbon. If you want to spread the message and Live Drug Free, then favorite this project so more people can see it! Feel free to remix, just please give credit.
