But never so... intimately and furiously. `` ] ` [read on for more] ` [ ` ] SHIFTS & URGES [ ` ] I have a fairly stumpy tail, and while I don't really get ear ph-shifts, the time(s? still figuring one out) I have, they've been pretty pointy. I would guess that hyenas chuff (vocalized during a slight m-shift), as most higher predators do. I have the urge to wash my cats when they're washing each other a lot, and hyenas do groom themselves and wash each other as well. [ ` ] STORIES/CONNECTIONS [ ` ] 1 - I was watching Secrets of the Zoo on Animal Planet (TV channel), and they had a section about their Spotted hyenas. They were setting out enrichment for them and whatnot, but when they actually sent their two hyenas out, my brain decided not to work for a minute. I felt like this huge sort of pull in my chest. Like my brain went "oh my gosh iuhfweoifjwo" and my heart was like “OH MY GOSHHHHHHH”. Hard to explain... 2 - I was researching about hyenas, because I was curious about them. There are a few species of them, and I checked all of them out. Both the Striped and Spotted hyenas were like "yes, cool, whatever" but I clicked on Brown hyenas and I stared at them for a moment. That was me, I can feel it. That's me. I was just staring at them for few moments, and I started researching more about them. Most things I experience fit better with Brown hyenas then anything else I’ve been able to find. [ ` ] QUESTIONING STILL [ ` ] I’m unsure if Brown hyenas are truly my theriotype, but they are so much closer then anything I’ve found. But with the whole connection thing, I’m also wondering if they aren’t actually my theriotype, but instead another hearttype. I know you can have both, but I’m not really sure.
