boring, not italicized text if the project isn't working: (or go in the project i guess lol) Introduction: Metamorphosis 2029; *Memphis, Tennessee*. The doctors had believed they'd cracked the code on cancer, that most relentless of killers. You’d have expected them to have figured it out by now, right? After it’s killed so many people? Wrong. And they still haven’t found a cure. Test subjects. That’s what started this apocalypse. A rabbit. One small, cancer-infected, puny rabbit. They thought they had a cure. Finally, after so long. They carried out their trials on a rabbit- so much for stopping animal testing. They thought it went well. The scientists, that is. Fortunately, the rabbit didn’t react the way they thought it would. Something within the mammal changed. It’s DNA, perhaps? The rabbit slowly began to become feral- bloodshot eyes, struggling to walk, biting at its own flesh. Almost like a metamorphosis into something new. The animal saw an escape. Took it’s chance. Succeeded. A head scientist experimenting on the rabbit went home that night, unaware of the bite on his leg. Two small indented figments of skin not far apart from each other, but bloodily visible. The man slowly began to turn feral, just like the rabbit. He became hyper-aware of everything: every movement made, every soundwave created. Hair loss was the first thing on the line. His two legs of transportation began to stagger, his walking more jagged than it already was. The man picked and began to eat at his own flesh, leaving wounds he could no longer feel. For his eyes? Bloodshot red. The doctor was lucky. He was killed before he could spread the virus. The rabbit, however, was gone. Nowhere to be seen. God only knows how many people that test subject has bitten. All we know is that there are zombie mutated creatures running around in places you’ll never wish to find them, spreading the virus via their own mutilated mouths. Rabid. That’s what they are. Feral ----------.
