Use "+" "-" "*" "/" "^" "√" as operators. Use "⁻" for negatives. Do NOT include spaces or exponents as decimals. For roots, the first number is the number of times the square root is gathered. Numbers past square roots unfortunately don't work. I need to learn the principles to find out how. Fractions are X,Y for X/Y and X,Y,Z for X Y/Z. The calculator will lag while getting an answer with fractions, since it's trying to convert decimals to fractions and counting up really high.
