⇅ how to properly wax areas on your face! (mustache, unibrow, + eyebrows) ⟡ before applying wax to the face, test to see it's temp on the INSIDE of your wrist, if it's too hot and burns you there, don't put it on your face. lower the temp of your wax machine or cool off the wax somehow ⟡ when applying wax, apply it in the direction the hair is growing. this makes sure the hair actually comes out ⟡ when applying the wax strip, make sure you rub it on the wax for a minimum of 30 seconds. make sure you can see the wax through the strip. if not, the wax won't come off and it's gonna hurt. ⟡ when removing the actual hair, hold skin taut, which means using your other hand and pulling the skin underneath the area you're waxing down so it's tight. pull the strip off IN THE DIRECTION OF HAIR GROWTH. not doing so will just rip the top layer of skin off (when doing unibrow, hold skin taut above the wax) ⟡ apply aloe vera (or another moisturizing agent) to waxed area afterward ⟡ the skin will be red, that's normal ⟡ after ripping off strip, it helps the pain to hold skin with your hand and put pressure on the area ⟡ when doing eyebrows, follow the arch of the eyebrow. really try not to get wax in the actual eyebrow because thats going to really hurt and its hard to get out of hair since its sticky ik this is kinda weird to be making a project over i need ideas lmao
