Arrows to move. Press and hold [Z] to shoot. Scroll down for descriptions of weapon types and bosses. Story: As someone who lives in the Raster Society, you have been selected to defend your home planet from the Vectors by becoming a member of the Bitmap Brigade. Eliminate as many Vectors as you can! Weapon Types: (Press the Weapon Number during the countdown to start with that weapon) [1] Standard: Basic shot, good all-rounder. [2] Pulse: Fires 3 wavy shots in a short burst. Okay for crowds, decent for bosses. [3] Shotgun: Fires 5 shots in an arc. Good for zapper enemies and crowds, bad for bosses. [4] Missile: Large piercing projectile, slow-ish fire rate. Not the best for normal enemies, great for bosses. [5] Gatling: Fires 5 Small shots in a burst, fast fire rate. Pierces for some reason too. Good for enemies and great for bosses. [6] Laser: Fires a beam. Pretty self explanatory. If you hold fire for too long, the weapon will overheat. Keep an eye on the heat bar in the top left to avoid this. Decent for enemies, shreds bosses. [7] Subwoofer: Fires a radial sound blast from your ship. Good at protecting you from enemies, great for bosses but hard to use on them. [8] Adrenaline: Does not fire a projectile. Will increase the combo meter when used. Has a chance to spawn pickups if you are invincible. [9] Random: Will randomly use the other 8 weapons, not including Laser. Absolute garbage, but kinda funny. Does not copy Adrenaline's pickup creation ability. Health Pickup: Not a weapon. Restores one HP when picked up. Invincibility: Not available via pickup. You become invincible when the combo meter at the bottom left fills up completely. This grants invulnerability, full health, and faster fire rates on weapons. (The laser does not overheat) It lasts until the combo meter runs out. (The meter depletes faster while invincible for balancing reasons) Bosses: Shape King: Will summon additional enemies. Big Zap: Will fire an electricity beam. Buzz Saw: Will randomly spin around the screen. Charger: Will charge towards the left side of the screen. The Wall: Does not move. Will periodically heal itself for 15 HP. Swarm: Is not a boss. Enemies spawn more often and your combo burns faster during a swarm. The swarm ends after 300 enemies have been defeated.
Note: You will not be able to update the WR without the "Scratcher" status. Don't blame me, that's just how cloud variables work. Current WR Holder: @cupheadanime (me!) Do you think you can beat it? >:) Let me know in the comments if you do and I'll check the cloud logs.
