Windspirit awoke once again in the den. "Who was that?" She asked, but no voice responded. She got the horrible feeling she was alone. She lied onto he floor for a long time. Hours, it felt. Then suddenly she got the feeling she was being watched-it sent a cold shiver down her spine. "Are you back?" She asked, but no one responded. Instead, a pair of white eyes opened amidst the blackness. "Mountainberry?" She asked, but the eyes shook. Suddenly, a claw reached out and scraped her ear. The blood drizzled down to her muzzle, and it tasted like iron. "Who are you?" She asked, but a swift paw knocked her to her back, and then dug into her stomach, scraping its claws along the length of her chest. "Who are you?" She gasped, quickly shuffling to her feet trying to resist the pain. "Guess." A voice responded. No more claws attacked her. "I...I don't know!" She said, and a few rocks above the cave crumbled, revealing a shaft of light that bathed the reddish brown tabby that stood before WIndspirit. The jester-like black triangles under her eyes stood out. "Flamedaisy?" She asked. The cat nodded. "Wha-What is even happening?" WIndspirit asked. "You are really bad at fighting." Flamedaisy said simply. WIndspirit grumped. "Yeah. I'm a med cat, not a warrior." Flamedaisy rolled her eyes. "You should be able to defend yourself." WIndspirit sighed. "Why did you attack me if you're not a threat?" She asked. Flamedaisy cocked her head. "Whoever said I was not a threat? I am the biggest threat." Windspirit got up, and threw herself into what she thought was a decent attack position. It sent Flamedaisy in a pillar of laughter. "You call that an attack pose?" She hissed. "You have much to learn...Why did I have to be the one to teach you? Why did he choose me?" She said, and shook her head. "What...What is happening?" WIndspirit asked. "Who is he?" Daisypool was quiet. "He will reveal his identity in due time." She said. "Until then, I will train you daily, and you will see Mountainberry every half moon. Every night, you will meet him here." Windspirit nodded at her words. "Now," She said, as the room started to lighten. "You're waking up. I shall see you tomorrow." WIndspirit nodded. "I will meet you after you see him." Then, she was gone and Windspirit was staring at the layer of white outside her den.
