Probably not doing full analysis for future redesigns because there are just too many!! The design itself is really solid and recognizable, so most of what I did was with shape and silhouette. Mainly making her a lot more pointy and dangerous-looking, but having circles in the hair and such to add a bit of a soft side. Also added the burnt sleeve as what I like to call a “beacon item,” something that makes them stand out from other characters and make people instantly know “Oh, that’s a picture of ____!” Think of Dipper from Gravity Falls with his blue and white hat, Maui from Moana with his hook weapon, or Winnie the Pooh with his red shirt.
