for a while, i didn't speak for days on end. i wandered back and forth expressionless and empty. but one day i overhear this ridiculous joke, and i couldn't stop myself from laughing. the moment was cut short when someone turned to me and told me i had a nice smile, and i was reminded of every reason they hadn't seen it before. i suppose nowadays i'm just trying to make up for lost time.
