PLAY IN FULL SCREEN MODE OTHERWISE SOME FEATURES MAY NOT SHOW (LIKE THE MG FIRE)! Instructions: Click anywhere on the screen to fire the main cannon of the tank (it kills every soldier on the battlefield at once), press space to fire the machine gun (it kills only the soldiers in the front). Press left and right arrows for previous tank or next tank. Press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 for different types of Soviet infantry. Press C to toggle the deletion of corpses when Soviet infantry are killed ("Yes" by default). Note that if corpses are not deleted while the deletion of corpses is turned off, they will remain on the screen even when the deletion of corpses is turned back on. It will get really laggy! German Panzer Types (Soviet Infantry Types in Notes and Credits): 1: PzKpfw IV Ausf. J - The late-war model of the Panzer IV, cheap to make and is effective in many number of ways, including quantity itself. 2: PzKpfw V "Panther" Ausf. G - The most commonly produced variant of all the Panther tanks, this tank had a high-velocity long-barreled gun that could easily destroy most enemy tanks at far range. 3: PzKpfw VI "Tiger" Ausf. E - The legendary Tiger tank often takes down at least twenty enemy armor with its 88mm main gun from up to two kilometers away, shredding many unfortunate tanks to pieces. 4-5: PzKpfw VI "Königstiger" Ausf. B - The heavier cousin of the Tiger tank (that's why its also called the "Tiger II"), armed with its 8.8cm gun based off the PaK 43 anti-tank gun instead of the FlaK 36 anti-air gun, along with up to 185mm armor and up to 150mm at the front. 6: StuG III Ausf. G - The powerful 7.5cm StuK 40 mounted on a hull chassis of the Panzer III makes it a weapon capable of blowing infantry to pieces and smashing holes in enemy tanks. 7: Sturmgeschütze IV - A cheap and easy-to-produce assault gun based off the chassis of the Panzer IV that can serve in multirole missions, and is effective against both infantry and tanks at long ranges. 8: Jagdpanzer IV/70(A) - Also known as the Panzer IV/70(A), it uses a more simplified chassis of the Panzer IV and arms a powerful 7.5cm PaK 42 L/70 in its casemate that could crush any armor. 9: Jagdpanzer IV/70(V) - The final version of the Jagdpanzer IV series, it has a shorter height, making it perfect for ambushes and sneak attacks because you can literally hide it under your bed. 10: Jagdpanther V Ausf. G2 - A heavy tank destroyer built on a modified Panther chassis, and mounts the potent 8.8cm PaK 43 in its casemate that could shatter more than 200mm armor at ranges up to 1,000 meters. 11: Sd.Kfz.164 "Nashorn" - Mainly used on the eastern front to counter the sloped armor of Soviet T-34s, this tank destroyer is built on the chassis of a self-propelled gun in order to house the 8.8cm PaK 43 that is primarily used to destroy tanks of all sorts, from light tanks to heavy tanks. 12: Sturmpanzer IV "Brummbär" - An assault gun based off the Panzer IV chassis, with 100mm frontal armor and boasting a powerful 15cm StuH 43 howitzer that is highly effective against fortifications and large groups of enemy infantry. 13: Sturmmörserwagen "Sturmtiger" - Arming the terrifying 38cm RW 61 rocket launcher in its front, as well as having over 150mm frontal armor, this tank is more than capable of blowing up more than two enemy tanks at once with its 376-kg shell, as well as making sure that no infantry formation would survive the explosion and shrapnel within its blast radius other than in the form of vaporized smithereens. 14: Panzerjäger Tiger(P) "Ferdinand" - What is more horrifying to enemy tank crews than a tank destroyer with 200mm frontal armor and a 8.8cm PaK 43 gun? 15: Panzerjäger Tiger(P) "Elefant" - Earning its combat name "elephant" due to its large size and sluggish movements, this tank is extremely slow to react, but nothing survives once the tank faces its front towards it, let it be tanks or infantry. 16: Panzerjäger VI "Jagdtiger" - This tank destroyer is even more scarier than the Ferdinand/Elefant, with a 12.8cm PaK 44 and armor up to 250mm at its front. It's based off the chassis of the Tiger II, so its mobility would not restrict its combat capability. 17: Jagdpanzer 38(t) "Hetzer" - How can such a small ambush tank destroyer be more deadlier than the legendary Jagdtiger? The tank is light and quick (it's name literally means "chaser"), and it could move faster than the Jagdtiger's slow aiming speed, which means it can hit and run, without the Jagdtiger hitting it back in a one-to-one combat scenario. It's powerful 7.5cm PaK 39 could penetrate the Jagdtiger's side armor at close range. Given enough time, this tank can easily take out a Jagdtiger if it destroys both of its tracks and disables its ability to turn. If this tank can slay the dragon, it becomes the next dragon. Can you think of any more late war German tanks I should add (tanks used in 1944-1945, but not unproduced tanks like the PzKpfw VIII "Maus" or the E-100)? Tell me in the comments!
The Germans had the world's best tanks during WWII. The Soviets had the world's best infantry during WWII. Project still in progress, many tanks and infantry are not added yet, but will soon. There is no reloading of the tank machine gun currently. This project might be a bit "violent", but there are many similar projects on Scratch, and if there's no problem with them, there's no problem with this project. This project is not meant to promote fascism or communism, but to represent history in an accurate way. Change(s) to be made: Adding another reload sound for Soviet snipers after reloading all five rounds. Implementing the anti-tank rifle team into the project. Fixing up the sprite layering further. Tell me in the comments if you encounter a problem! I can improve this project in whatever ways based on your experience! CREDITS Sound credit: Thanks to Enlisted for the German and Soviet voice lines. Thanks to various online sources for German tank sounds and Soviet weapon firing/reloading effects. Code credit: Thanks for @Griffpatch for some help with the sprite layering code. Soviet Infantry Types: 1: Conscripts - These patriotic soldiers with little combat capability are drafted to fight for the Motherland, with a single Mosin bolt-action rifle as their primary weapon. But to them, war is their chance to serve their country through dedication and courage. 2: Assault Infantry - Armed with PPSh-41 submachine guns, these soldiers are superior in firepower at close range, tearing apart enemy troops quickly. 3: Machine Gun Infantry - They are armed with a DP-27 machine gun to provide heavy support fire from rifle range, where submachine guns are ineffective in laying automatic fire at such distances. 4: Riflemen Infantry - Basic combat units in the Red Army that carried SVT-40 semi-automatic rifles with quicker shots and are more effective at longer ranges than most assault infantry armed with automatic firearms. 5: Scout Snipers - Moving quick and silently, these snipers scout through enemy territory, providing recon, and safely eliminate enemies from long ranges with their scoped SVT-40 sniper rifle. 6: Sniper - Snipers are trained marksmen who are often used to take out enemies with their scoped Mosin PU sniper rifle, from ranges where their enemies cannot return fire effectively. 7: Anti-Tank Rifle Team (still in progress) - Carries a single-shot 14.5 PTRD 40 anti-tank rifle to penetrate the armor of enemy light tanks. Long reload time means they are extremely vulnerable during the process, but the enemy would be disabled before then. 8: Shock Troops - These aggressive troops with body armor are often used to spearhead an attack into enemy positions, their PPS-43 submachine guns turning enemies to corpses before they hit the ground. Their body armor saves them from most bullets from automatic firearms, with the exception of heavy machine guns, but only their torso is protected. 9: Flag Bearer - This brave unnamed soldier carries the flag of the Soviet Union and rallies his charging comrades together in battle, urging them to fight ferociously and die valiantly for their country at whatever the cost. Seeing the blood-red flag with the golden sickle-and-hammer would make any Red Army soldier fight to the last drop of blood. Planned units: -Red Guards: These soldiers that were formed from peasants and soldiers are willing to lay down and sacrifice their lives defending the Motherland. Although their weaponry is inferior, they make it up with their dedication to serve in the Red Army. -NKVD Troops: Special combat units of the Secret Police are given submachine guns to defend urban areas from enemy forces. They are trained in close-quarters combat, and fortification strategies. -Penal Unit: Often consisting of captured enemy soldiers and prisoners of war, as well as Red Army soldiers convicted of desertion, these troops fight for their pardon, often dying one way or another. -Assault Engineers: Of the many soldiers chosen to build defensive structures around Moscow and Stalingrad to defend those cities from enemy forces, they are once again recalled to the frontline in 1943 after those battles were over. This time, they are no longer on the defensive, but the offensive. Assigned to demolish enemy bunkers with their flamethrowers, powerful PTRS-41 anti-tank rifles, and heavy machine guns that provide terrifying firepower, their body armor were necessary for their protection, like the shock troops. -Heavy Mortar Team: Long range support fire can only be relied by the 82mm PM-41 heavy mortar, able to strike enemies without them even seeing where the high-explosive shells are coming from. Although the 120mm PM-38 heavy mortar would provide more firepower, it was a burden for the troops on foot to carry without a vehicle to tow it. -Heavy Machine Gun Team: The awesome firepower from the M1910 Maxim heavy machine gun rips apart enemy infantry in a short amount of time. -Might need to add body count variables.
