HOW TO PLAY CHESS: The little pieces are called pawns and they can move one square up. If they are at the start still they can also move 2 steps. Pawns can capture one move diagonally to another piece. The pieces that look like a castle are called Rooks. Rooks can move any direction they want except diagonal. The Kings are the one one with the crown on their head which has a big cross above it. Kings can move ANY DIRECTION but only one square at a time. If the King goes to a spot where a piece can get it, it will be an illegal move and you have to redo it. If the King is blocked by pieces it will be a CHECKMATE. The Queen is the most POWERFUL PIECE and it is next to the King. The Queen can MOVE ANY DIRECTION AND I MEAN ANY DIRECTION. The knight is the piece that looks like a horse. The knight can move a Capital L shape and it can jump over pieces. The bishop is the last one (I cant describe the look of it lol) The bishop can move any step diagonally. OMG I WROTE SO MUCH LOL. Btw sorry you can't castle in tis game.
