I've decided I'm going to redo this with actual decor + some changes so that crouchless route is better and doesn't interfere with any% to the amount it does currently. (update: the reason I did this was it seemed like there would be no follow up from ice, and I wanted to give the remake more effort I just finished and oops it's a little harder than I expected, It's a pretty easy completion but some of the speed strats are crazy. I estimate time for runs is gonna be at ~1:10, but yall are better at the game than me so you can probably finish it faster than me. (go to the end and back) Because in the past my remakes were less for mechanical interest and more for design, this is a fairly difficult challenge. Also difficult because I haven't made a remake in 6+ months ish. Overall, I like how it came out and in the likely event I don't win, I might decorate it if I can find the time. (If this somehow wins, I'm fine if the cosmetic thingies like some of the spikes are removed as they serve no functional purpose) I did lower the lava a bit to make room for platforms. SPEEDRUN BUILD INSTRUCTIONS: - Press 1-6 to set the run type to Any%, Crouchless, Refresh%, or Minimum Jumps, Average of 5, and Real Time, respectively. - Crouch and press green flag to choose a starting frame for resets - To reset Average of 5, press green flag - Press M to open the cosmetics menu, save your cosmetic presets by copying save code - Press 7 at the end of an Any% or Crouchless run to see your segmented times. Include these stats in your proof screenshot - Press N to view recently completed runs from other community members! - Press B while hovering the mouse over parts of the UI to hide them. Press B to recover them Use either A and D on left hand with Up and Down arrow on right OR W and S on left hand with Left and Right arrow on right Splitting up inputs this way makes long/high jumping much easier, and separates left-right from up-down in your brain.
@IceBryker made the speedrun build, I made the map, @griffpatch obviously made the original. I made Crouchless possible without glitchy walljumps just because I wanted to have a little fun and why not. Refresh% is not possible because I didn't want to have any elevators.
