Okay... hypothetically, theoretically, poetically, mathematically, technically, rhetorically... this is the shortest platformer engine that lands at 12 blocks use the variable slider at the top to control the x speed, press space to jump Contains: input system, not from the code but directly from player horizontal movement horizontal acceleration jump realistic gravity acceleration ground collision customizable movement speed customizable jump height death (once touching a spike, it will go back to the center and stop listening to inputs) the movements are fun but at the cost of flexibility. i argue this is closer to an actual platformer engine because you can actually customize it instead of having a limited movement speed of 1 in order to keep the same amount of blocks.
