A demo of my scrapped game "FreezyFire Cave", inspired by both Zelda and Pikmin games. This was uploaded to my main account on the 28th of April 2019, but I unshared it shortly after because (from what I remember) I felt the game was over-ambitious and wasn't really sure where to take it. Probably should have uploaded this on my test account sooner instead of it being essentially lost media for 4 years, but hey-ho, now it's back I guess. Although it never came to be, the game's collision system was reused and adapted for Super Mike World, so at least a little bit of this game lived on in some form. Controls are in-game, and there are two full "missions" to play with different objectives. The final game wouldn't have been split into missions, but rather an open world with various paths you could explore freely. This was only done to streamline the demo. (Mostly) original description below: ===================================== ====THIS IS A DEMO, NOT THE FULL GAME==== As you may be aware, I've been working on a massive Scratch game where you explore a large cave while searching for treasure, fighting enemies and more. It's not finished yet, but to keep you entertained and to build up the hype, I've released this special demo! :D In this demo, you'll be able to try out two small sections of the game to get an idea of what to expect when it releases. As the game is still under development, you can help me improve it! If you find a bug or there's a feature you don't like, let me know in the comments. (I will not be removing the health or stamina wheels though.) ======================================== Controls: In-game, can be viewed at anytime in the pause menu or before the game starts. ======================================== Gameplay tips: While sprinting, your stamina wheel will change colour. If it reaches red, you'll become tired and walk slowly. Try to avoid this by stopping sprinting just before it reaches red! Hearts refill your health wheel and are used as checkpoints. Even if you're at full health, it's still a good idea to touch one. If you want to attack an enemy, remember to face in it's direction! ======================================== Credits: Many aspects of this game are inspired by the Zelda and Pikmin series of video games. Sound effects from Scratch Sound Library, Nintendo, SoundBible and bfxr.net. The music of this game are from Sonic Mania, Super Mario Galaxy, Pikmin 3, TheFatRat and Kirby Super Star.
