A "Tropical Cyclone" is a tropical cyclone with 1-min sustained winds of at least 73 mph. A Major Cyclone is a tropical cyclone with 1-min sustained winds of at least 111 mph. Different Codes: All Clear - No systems are likely to develop as of now. Code Green - Slight chance of development. Code Cyan - Medium chance of development. Code Blue - High or Certain chance of development. Code Yellow - At least one depression or storm active. Code Lavender - At least one tropical cyclone active. Code Orange - At least one major cyclone active. Code Violet - At least one Category 5 cyclone active. -- All below codes call for a pitch change.
