<Prologue> The Greek War of Independence, also known as the Greek Revolution took place between 1821 and 1832. The Greeks received aid from several European nations, and the Ottomans were assisted by Tunisia and Egypt. Greece gained its independence and this day (March 25) is celebrated as a national holiday.
