Drag the pieces to move. Turbo mode is recommended (Hold the Shift key and press the green flag). Once you have completed all the puzzles of a certain difficulty it will take you back the menu. Note: the puzzles appear in a random order. There are three types of puzzles: Checkmate, you MUST checkmate your opponent in the fewest moves possible. Material, you are trying to get a winning position by either having more/better pieces than your opponent or a significant positional advantage such as an unstoppable passed pawn. Draw, your goal is to draw where any move other than the correct move loses.
