May 18 - 10 years old Dad is taking me out for ice cream! He said he would let me get a milkshake, but what’s the special occasion? UPDATE: He told me we’re moving. To SAN FRANSISCO. 2,000 miles away. We leave next month. May 23 - 10 years old Dad made me pack up my stuff. He says we move in a week, faster than he thought. I don’t want to go. May 28 - 10 years old I had to say goodbye to my friends today. Ari gave me a 4-leaf clover. I’m going to ask Mom if she has any packing tape and string so I can make it a necklace. Sora didn’t want to speak to me. I think she’s mad. But why? I didn’t want to move. May 30 - 10 years old I’m on the plane. We have changes of clothes and other stuff in our bags, while the rest travels across the country in a truck. All of my books, my stuffed animal collection, my beanbag chairs, and my dinosaur models are separate from me. I just want to go back. June 7 - 10 years old I’m in California now. It’s too hot and sandy for my taste. I want to go back home - my real home. Sora hasn’t texted my mom’s phone yet, but Ari asked about how I was! She wanted to call me, but we were on the plane still. July 30 - 10 years old Sorry for not writing recently. I’ve been busy. Dad is acting kind of mean, he keeps missing dinner and coming home late. Mom’s been kind of vacant too. What is happening to them? Also, Sora finally texted me. She said she didn’t want to be my friend anymore, and that she had new ones. She’s never talking to me again. August 9 - 10 years old Dad smells like smoke, but why does Mom too? She works as a secretary, not a firefighter! As a matter of fact, Dad shouldn’t be working near fire either… August 13 - 10 years old Dad went to work today and I followed him! I’m in a closet now, I’m going to find out what he’s doing! UPDATE: I found out what he was doing. It was horrible, he was working with demons. He was using their magic smoke things!
