as you leave the foyer, you come across a set of double doors. the ornate doors, beautifully carved with rich mahogany wood, give you sense of awe. they tower over you, and groan with decades of being unused as you push them open. a room is revealed. a set of huge windows catch your eye, filtering light into the dusty room. with chairs on intricately patterned carpets and books in grimy glass cases, this room could've been used as a study. were hours spent here, pouring over pages of prose? were hours spent here, reminiscing over life? were hours spent here, dreaming for something new? you walk to a table, and see something interesting - a picture. you can barely see it with the grainy quality, but it makes you think. who could it be? what's their story? did they live in the mansion? something else on the table catches your eye - it appears to be a note. unlike what you thought, this note is made with only ones and zeros - very, very peculiar. could this message be for you? who would've wrote this? is there a relationship between this code and the person in the picture? in addition to the photo and the note, there's one more thing lying on the table - it's a small machine. it looks simple, yet complex to operate. you press your finger onto one of the knobs curiously, but take a step back, startled. a series of frequencies broadcast a chain of messages to you. then you wonder - could it be a telegraph? you've heard of them, but have never seen them before. what could it be telling you? who's telling you this? could it be linked to the mysterious owner of the mansion? could it be linked to the person in the photo? or could they both be the same person? what could all this mean?
