JW&W #534 was built as a USATC S160 in 1945 but was not shipped overseas after the ECR requested that 5 S160s be sold to them to replace some older locomotives that were not able to handle the wartime traffic, after the war the 5 S160s were kept in service and would last until the end of steam in 1956 when #534 would pull the last regularly scheduled train to be lead by a steam engine on the JW&W. In 1957 #534 was donated to the JW&W St. Paul Roundhouse Museum where it was cosmetically restored to its USATC livery. In 2010 #534 was restored to operation and now runs excursions on the museum's 3 mile line, and sometimes will run mainline excursions.
